Yes. However, patients who have Medicare only are eligible for short-term home
care - typically 2-4 weeks and not more than 20 hours per week.
Are persons under 65 years old eligible for long-term care ?
Yes. If you are enrolled in Medicaid and qualify for long term care. There are no age restrictions to receive long-term care under Medicaid.
What if I don’t have Medicaid ?

Does ProLife accept private insurance ?
Yes. We accept most forms of Medicaid insurance plans and private long term care insurance. We also provide private pay options for those who do not have insurance that covers long term home care services.
Are ProLife’s caregivers insured ?
Yes. ProLife Home Care is a Licensed & Insured Home Care Services Agency. All caregivers are direct employees of ProLife & insured under our business insurance policies.
What if I am unhappy with the caregiver sent to me ?
Patient satisfaction is our top priority. If for any reason you are dissatisfied with your caregiver please call our office at 718-232-2777. Our support team will do everything possible to meet your needs.

I am a CDPAP Personal Assistant. Do I need to clock in & out ?
Yes. It is a Federal requirement that every Personal Assistant must clock in & out. The exception to this rule is ONLY when the Personal Assistant lives at the same address as the consumer or patient.
