ProLife Home Care, Inc. provides free language assistance services and auxiliary aids to people who need them. This includes qualified interpreters, information written in other languages, and formats accessible to people with disabilities.
Section 1These services are free
You are never charged for an interpreter or for translated materials, and asking for one never delays your care or changes what you are offered. You also do not have to use a family member or a friend as an interpreter. If you would rather they interpreted for you, that is your choice, but it is a choice and not a requirement.

Section 3If you have a disability
We provide free aids and services to help you communicate with us. That includes qualified sign language interpreters, and written information in large print, in audio, and in accessible electronic formats. Tell us what works for you and we will arrange it.
Section 4How to ask for an interpreter
Call us and say the name of your language in English if you can, or simply stay on the line. Our own coordinators and aides speak 13 languages between them, so there is a good chance the person who picks up already speaks yours. If not, we bring an interpreter onto the call, and that costs you nothing either.
You may notice two counts on this page. They are not the same thing. The notice above is published in the fifteen languages most spoken in New York State by people who have limited English, because that is what federal law asks of us. The 13 are the languages our own staff speaks, which is a different and shorter list. Your language does not have to be on either one. Call and ask, and we will find an interpreter.
